Law studies at the Universities of Berlin, Munich and Münster, followed by legal internship and activities as academic teacher in economic and commercial law at the University of Bielefeld.

Doctorate in law at the University of Bielefeld (thesis about "Export Cartels").

Foreign Service postings between 1973 and 2010, a.o. in Caracas, Moscow, Beijing, Jakarta, New York and finally in Shanghai as Consul General.

Focus on consular matters and legal support as well as on political/economic analysis and trade/investment promotion. Regional experience in China and Indonesia as well as in Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe.

Services 

Consulting services for enterprises, for private and public organizations relating to the political, economic and social environment of foreign countries – analyses, lectures, conferences.
Individual advisory support for entrepreneurs, German and foreign partner institutions, including consultancy with regard to framework conditions for foreign investments in Germany e.g. with regard to company law, right of establishment and residence.
